PointResistance: Immanent Position is complete! It just needs to be finalized, distributed to sponsors, then onto the netz.

More art produced from boredom. This small piece was drawn in around 5 minutes, I was thinking of how many real games don’t implement command structure. The whole concept of giving and taking orders makes for a good recipe for exciting gameplay, if I am not mistaken there is no game with dynamic enemies that are equipped with a command hierarchy to date.

Development Unconsciously Continues

Not progress had been made recently on the game besides the addition of a few more weapons. However, work unconsciously continues…. Included below is a doodle I made on a paper plate.

I think this is the concept art for the Enemy Soldiers Elite Unit, took me 3 min to sketch this. No actual design has been made yet, but as soon as I get something done, I will post it immediately.
BTW, work on PR1 continues….. ugh =|

Accelerated Progress! Bad News

Point Resistance 2 is coming along quite quickly, Player models, weapon models, and bot AI/Communications are almost finished. The bad news is, this burst of development seizes time and desire to polishing the finishes on Point Resistance 1, so it can be released!

The good outweighs the bad however as the first few weapons are completed for the games predecessor. Furthermore even more thought goes into the more core elements to the games design, the storyline, different types of enemies, and enemy AI mechanics.
Included in this blog post is the first exclusive look into a foundation weapon in this game.

The K&M .45 Tactical USP is a core part of your squad in Point Resistance 2 for it is currently being thought of as the default first and only weapon that you and your squad will recieve in the early game, having to buy other weapons later.

What’s so great about the USP is that, if used properly, it is very effective at taking out enemy soldiers. Players might grow to love this simple pistol further on in the game and choose to equip it rather than more expensive counterparts. With the ability to upgrade individual weapons damage and accuracy, the USP could probably raise to be a crowd favorite.
